Form mapping
Form mapping in Distro seamlessly integrates website forms with its scheduling tools
Form mapping in Distro is a pivotal step in creating a seamless integration between your existing website forms and Distro’s advanced booking and scheduling tools. This process ensures that once a form is filled out on your website, Distro takes over to efficiently manage scheduling and routing, enhancing the user experience and streamlining your lead management process.
Distro activates the scheduling widget solely in response to a form submission. It does not alter or interfere with your existing data or any current functions of your form.
Step-by-Step Guide to Form Mapping in Distro
Accessing the Form Section in Distro:
Begin by logging into your Distro account.
Navigate to the Forms section by clicking on this link: Distro Forms Section.
Creating a New Form:
In the Forms section, click on the “+ New” button to start the process of creating a new form.
This step initiates the integration process by allowing you to define a new form within the Distro system.
Naming Your Form:
Assign a unique and descriptive name to your form. This name will help you identify and manage the form within Distro.
Identifying the Form Selector:
The form selector field is crucial as it links your website form with Distro.
This field requires the ID of your form. For instance, if you’re using a Hubspot form, you can find this ID in the form’s URL when you open it in your editing tool.
Once you have located your form's ID, prepend it with "#hsForm_".
Adding Form Fields:
Include all the relevant fields that will be used in your matching and distribution rules within Distro.
This step is essential for ensuring that the data collected through your form is appropriately utilized for lead management and scheduling.
Saving Your Form:
Once you have filled in all the necessary information and added the fields, click on the ‘Save’ button to finalize the form mapping process.
